Appointment of another Residential Service Manager

Restorative Social Care Services is pleased to formally announce the promotion of Chris Godridge, Registered Manager of Ogden Moor, to the role of Residential Service Manager.

This appointment reflects the continued growth and development of the residential services within Restorative Social Care Services. As part of this significant enhancement to our senior management structure, the organisation will now have two Residential Service Managers, each overseeing a designated zone of four residential children’s homes. Alongside Ben Stenton, who continues in his role as Residential Service Manager, this strengthened leadership model will further enhance oversight, quality assurance, and operational support across our homes.

In addition, this development enables David Copping, Director and Responsible Individual, to transition into the role of Head of Care, further strengthening strategic leadership across the organisation.

C Godridge-3

Chris’s promotion is a testament to both his personal dedication and our ongoing commitment to investing in and developing our staff. Chris joined Restorative Social Care Services over 8 years ago as a Support Worker. During his time with the organisation, he has progressed to Senior Support Worker, Assistant Manager, Registered Manager at Bridge House, and most recently Registered Manager at Ogden Moor.

Chris has been a Registered Manager for over 5 years and, in the past 12 months, successfully transitioned to manage Ogden Moor. Most notably, he recently led Ogden Moor through a full Ofsted inspection, achieving an Outstanding grading in all areas — a significant accomplishment that reflects his leadership, commitment to excellence, and focus on achieving the best possible outcomes for young people.

This promotion aligns with our organisational career roadmap and clearly demonstrates our commitment to recognising talent, supporting professional development, and promoting from within wherever possible. In his new role, Chris will work closely with our Registered Managers to provide leadership, guidance, and development support across his allocated services. We are confident that his experience, values, and dedication will continue to strengthen the quality of care we provide.

Please join us in congratulating Chris on this well-deserved promotion. We look forward to his continued contribution to Restorative Social Care Services and to the ongoing development of our residential provision as we strive to provide the highest standard of care for young people while continuing to invest in our staff team.
