Birthday Celebrations in London
A young person living at Church View, celebrated her 16th birthday recently and the care team had organised a weekend trip to London as part of the celebrations. The young person was joined by her close friend who lives at another Restorative SCS home, Princeton House. Together, they enjoyed taking in the sights, atmosphere, and culture of our beautiful capital city. They enjoyed walking around several of the parks, riding the tubes on the underground and seeing the many tourist attractions on offer.
Some of the sights the girls visited during their break away included, Big ben, Tower bridge, The London eye, before going celeb spotting at the Madam Tussauds museum.
The Girls finished off the birthday celebrations with a trip to the theatre to see Wicked the musical. Such a wonderful time was had by the young people and the care staff, planning has already begun to make this an annual trip to the capital city.
