Blossoming friendships across Restorative SCS
Friendships are blossoming across our residential homes. 3 young girls that all live in different homes within Restorative and are building a great friendship. Staff in each home have supported the girls to build their friendships through different activities and visits to each other homes. The girls recently enjoyed a day out bowling together, followed by afternoon tea at Church View. The girls recently enjoyed a trip out to a Comicon Event getting to enjoy the different stalls and outfits on display, with a Pamper Evening planned for the upcoming weekend for them all to get together and relax.
2 of the girls are looking forward to a holiday away with staff to London in the Summer Holidays and have a busy schedule planned during their time away. They are both also performing in a choir at Piece Hall where staff will be going along to offer support and encouragement. As the girls are getting older it is great to see them forming strong friendships and enjoying different activities together, that will hopefully continue into adulthood.
Having friends, that support each other and share the same interests is something we all need. Thank you to the care teams at Church View, Princeton House and Amar House for helping the girls form such positive friendships.
