Salary is based on working a 1 on 2 off rolling shift pattern inclusive of night-time support allowance.
Average of 10 sleeps ins per calendar month. (Additional hours can be offered)

Ready for your new Assistant Manager role in social care?
Three, completely new, senior posts of Assistant Manager in Calderdale, Kirklees and Bradford are available in our Supported Accommodation service.
We’re looking for experienced social care support workers looking for the next step in their careers. From our side, you’ll gain valuable management skills, experience and knowledge in a hands-on role, while also deputising for, and working alongside, Zonal Managers. As well as all the benefits and support to progress from a forward-thinking, Living Wage employer, including achieving a Level 5 qualification.

The person
You will need to be a dedicated team member; inspired by the difference you can make every day to the young person/people you work with and support in their daily life/lives and routines. You’ll need to be confident working alone, as is often the case with solo supported accommodation settings, and flexible to meet the needs of the role; as well as have a passion and commitment to your own learning and development in social care.
Essential criteria:
A genuine commitment to looked after children and anti-oppressive practice
NVQ / ILM Level 3 / QCF 4 in Caring for Children and Young People or equivalent or be working towards
Experience in supported accommodation, residential care or other relevant experience of working with children and young people
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004 and associated guidance and regulations, The Supported Accommodation (England) Regulation 2023, Working Together to Safeguard, and Leaving Care Act (2000)
Good communication and IT skills
You will report to the Zonal Manager in your day-to-day work and receive individual mentoring and full support to help you in your role and progress.
