Bank Support Worker – Residential Care

We couldn’t be prouder of the work we do within our children’s homes, and we are now looking for a Support Worker to join us. We’re pleased to say our residential care team is expanding, so we can deliver innovative care to more children and young people in our growing number of high-quality children’s homes.

You will need to be a dedicated team member; inspired by the difference you can make every day to the children you work with and support in their daily lives and routines. You’ll need to be flexible too to meet the needs of the role, and have a passion and commitment to your own learning and development in social care.

Essential criteria:

• A genuine commitment to looked after children and anti-oppressive practice
• Be working towards a QCF Level 4 Diploma
• Previous experience of working in a childcare or support work setting, or a role/s where there are transferable skills
• Good communication and IT skills

You will report to the Senior Residential Support Worker and Manager in your day-to-day work and receive individual mentoring and full support to help you in your role, and progress. Training and career opportunities are excellent at Restorative, as well as the potential for personal development, in a friendly, approachable and communicative team.
