Restorative Social Care Services is celebrating after Ogden Moor, one of its children’s residential homes, has been awarded an Outstanding judgement in all areas following a recent Ofsted inspection. The full inspection, carried out on 4th and 5th November 2025, resulted in the highest possible grading, recognising the exceptional standard of care, leadership, and outcomes for children living in the home.

Education was highlighted as a clear priority. Staff and management were commended for their strong advocacy, ensuring children can access appropriate educational support and provisions tailored to their individual strengths and goals.

Leadership at Ogden Moor was judged Outstanding for its strategic oversight, high expectations, and unwavering focus on continuous development. The inspection found that the home benefits from “highly effective services that consistently exceed the standards of good,” with managers demonstrating robust oversight and inspiring the whole team to embed the home’s ethos of ongoing growth.

The register manager’s vision for reflective practice and professional improvement has been fully adopted by the staff team, creating a culture where excellence is not only encouraged — but expected.
