Restorative SCS – Pumpkin Carving Competition results 2025

The spirit of creativity was in full swing this Halloween season as Restorative Social Care Services hosted a Pumpkin Carving Competition for the young people in its care. The event brought together fun, teamwork, and a fantastic display of artistic talent. Participants showed incredible imagination, carving everything from spooky faces to detailed autumnal designs. The level of effort and creativity amazed everyone involved, making it a truly memorable occasion.

To celebrate the achievements, prizes were awarded for first, second, and third place, recognizing both artistic skill and originality. However, every young person who took part walked away a winner with a gift voucher given to everyone that entered.

Staff members praised the young people for their enthusiasm and creativity. “It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and proud of their creations,” one team member said. “The competition really brought out the best in everyone — it was about having fun, expressing creativity, and working together.”

The pumpkin carving competition is part of Restorative Social Care Services’ ongoing commitment to providing engaging, restorative activities that promote confidence, collaboration, and positive wellbeing among young people.

As the carved pumpkins lit up the evening, so too did the smiles of the participants — proving that a bit of creativity and community spirit can brighten even the spookiest of seasons.
