Easter Egg Hunt
Young people living within Restorative Social Care Services recently came together to enjoy a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt, held at The Old Vicarage on 7th April 2026.
With its beautiful, large garden space, The Old Vicarage provided the perfect setting for a day full of fun, laughter, and outdoor activities. The event was carefully planned to ensure everyone could get involved and enjoy themselves, and it certainly delivered.
Throughout the day, young people took part in a range of fun games both inside and outside the home. The highlight of the day, however, was the much-anticipated Easter egg hunt. The garden was transformed into an exciting adventure, where young people followed clues hidden around the grounds, leading them to their Easter treats. It was wonderful to see everyone exploring, problem-solving, and working together with such enthusiasm.
All children who took part received a chocolate egg, and the celebrations continued with everyone coming together to enjoy lunch. Thanks to the lovely weather, staff organised a barbecue, which made the day feel even more special and gave everyone the chance to relax and socialise outdoors.
After the egg hunt and lunch, the young people were keen to keep the day going. With agreement from both staff and young people, a spontaneous trip to the park was arranged so everyone could continue to enjoy the sunshine and make the most of the day.
It was a truly positive event, with smiles all around and great memories made. Days like this highlight the importance of creating opportunities for young people to come together, have fun, and feel part of a supportive and caring community.
