Building friendships and making memories at Wibsey House

Our latest Supported Accommodation Group provision in Bradford now houses 5 young residents, with the most recent addition being Abdul, who is originally from Afghanistan.

They all decided to visit Team Sport in Bradford for some indoor go karting where it boasts 580m of G-force bends, supremely fast straights and heart-thumping ramps!

After a thrilling competition, they all went to a restaurant for a meal together. Abdul shared that he felt warmly welcomed by all the residents and enjoyed being part of the group. He also mentioned that having fun together was a great way to bond and strengthen their relationships.

Everyone had a wonderful time. Support Worker, Reece White, confessed that he couldn’t resist the urge to be competitive and ended up winning first place. This has sparked a desire in our resident Tyler to challenge the staff to a rematch.

Plans are now in motion for a rematch next month.
