Grove House day out to Bolton Abbey

Residents of Grove House recently enjoyed a day out to Bolton Abbey, making the most of the summer holidays.
The young people enjoyed visiting the historic site and learning about the local history of the site that dates back to 1155.

For most of the young people this was their first time visiting the site and one they really enjoyed. The day was spent paddling in the river and walking through woods and the surrounding area. Due to the success of the day the young people are already in the process of planning future days out exploring the North of England natural beauty.
