Restorative SCS Complete the Malham Cove Circular Walk

On Thursday 17th April, 2025, Young people and carers from Restorative Social Care Services enjoyed a day out in Malham. A great day was had walking the circular walk, starting and finishing in the picturesque village of Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. The walk initially passes by the picturesque Janet’s Foss before reaching Gordale Scar. If waters permit and your ability allows, you can climb up Gordale Scar and head on to Malham tarn. An alternative route is also described to the tarn. The walk heads on down the dry valley to reach the limestone top of Malham Cove, before dropping back down into Malham.

Everyone had a great day and was glad to rest their feet after walking approx 7 miles in glorious sunshine.

Well done to everyone who took part.
