Bridge House call for Christmas child shoeboxes for 12th November
Louise Abel and Jasmine Hawke at Bridge House are running a Christmas shoebox appeal this season to help children, who would otherwise not receive a present on Christmas day.
Organised by Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, simply involves finding a shoebox and filling it with items a child might love to receive on Christmas day.
Your filled shoeboxes are so needed and hugely appreciated. Let’s help to make it a great Christmas for every child.
Here’s what to do:
Step 1: Find a shoebox, wrap it with wrapping paper and write GIRL or BOY on the top. Then choose an age range: 2 to 4, 5 to 9 or 10 to 14
Step 2: Fill the box with items appropriate to the age you’ve chosen. Suitable items are toys, school supplies, hygiene items, hats, scarfs, hair accessories.
Please do not include: toothpaste, sweets, liquids, used / damaged items, food items, aerosols, medicines, sharp or fragile objects.
Step 3: When your box is complete, please arrange a drop off at Head Office before 12th November 2022.
