Waqas is taking semi-professional Cricket by Storm

We are very pleased to announce that one of our young individuals, Waqas Khan of Somerset House, has achieved remarkable success during his first season playing semi-professional cricket with Birstall CC.

Waqas was awarded three prestigious accolades at his presentation evening. Firstly, Waqas has been honoured with the ‘Young Player Of The Year’ award, recognising his exceptional eye-catching performances throughout the season. His remarkable skills and talent have captivated the attention of both spectators and fellow players.

Furthermore, Waqas has also been bestowed with ‘The Best Bowling Average Award’. His exceptional bowling abilities have played a crucial role in securing victories for his team, showcasing his dedication and commitment to the sport.

In addition to these achievements, Waqas has also been awarded the ‘Champagne Moment Trophy’ for the season. This accolade was earned through his outstanding display of batting and bowling skills, leading his team to victory single-handedly.

The staff at Somerset House are thrilled with Waqas’ accomplishments, as he has demonstrated a high level of resilience, determination, and hard work.
