Young people raise over £300 in this year’s Overgate Colour Run
Staff and young people helped turn a grey, cloudy day into one of colourful celebration and fun at this year’s Overgate Colour Run in Savile Park, Halifax, raising over £300 for the worthwhile cause.
On Saturday the 13th of July, staff and young people from Norland View and Church View homes, joined the over-1,400 strong crowd to run the 5km route in their most rainbow-tastic outfits!
McKenzie, Chloe, Kirily, Lilly, Kenzie and Lynne all took part being doused in coloured powder throughout the run, enjoying the ‘colour party’ at the finish line.
This was the tenth annual Overgate Colour Run since it began in 2014, one of the organisation’s flagship events raising funds to care for people with life-limiting illnesses, with this year’s raising over £45,000.
Well done to everyone who took part!
