Birk House go to Blackpool

What a fantastic day our young people living at Birk House enjoyed in Blackpool recently. A group day out was planned to visit the coastal town of Blackpool, with the young people experiencing Blackpool Pleasure beach for the first time. The young people showed great courage and fully enjoyed all the rides, despite some a little nervous of the bigger rides initially. Once the nerves had disappeared, there was no stopping them!

Some of our young people have never previously experience the seaside.  They had such fun paddling and splashing around in the sea, despite the fact it was freezing, but this didn’t stop the fun. The group all enjoyed having traditional fish and chips, another first for some of the group, before a quick ice cream and donuts before heading back to West Yorkshire.

A great day thoroughly enjoyed by all.
