First Registered Service Manager role advertised – for Kirklees Supported Accommodation

Following our announcement to expand the management infrastructure of our Supported Accommodation service for young people, to yet further improve every aspect of our care and support, we are now advertising for the first of three Ofsted Registered Service Manager roles.

Kirklees is the first locality where we are looking to fill the role, with, it’s planned, Calderdale and Bradford Ofsted Registered Managers following in the near future.

Career opportunity for a social care professional

The new Kirklees Registered Service Manager will oversee all supported accommodation provision in the Huddersfield area and lead three Assistant Managers. Fully supported by the senior leadership team and our new Quality, Development and Compliance Manager the role presents a real opportunity for the right person looking for the next step in their career in young people’s social care.

With a small caseload of approximately 19 young people, this is a chance for a committed social care professional to make a real difference, working closely with each young person, management and experienced social care leaders, within an innovative model of care.

To apply for this post, you’ll need to be…

Preferably, you’ll need to have some management experience to be eligible for this post. You don’t need to already have been an Ofsted Registered Manager, as it is planned that Restorative will support the right candidate in this. But you must be thorough in your knowledge of the relevant legislative frameworks for working with young people and have great attention to detail. Plus, you’ll have substantial time spent working in social care with young people and the ability to understand the needs of young people in a supported accommodation service.
