Residential Support Worker Leaps for Mental Health: February 2026 Skydive to Raise Funds for Mind
Aalliyah Ward, a dedicated residential support worker at Restorative Social Care Services is preparing to take a leap of faith—literally—as she gears up for a charity skydive this February 2026, in support of Mind, the leading mental health charity working across England and Wales.
Driven by a passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to the people they support each day, Aalliyah will jump from 15,000 feet to raise awareness and vital funds for Mind’s life-changing services.
Mind provides information, support, and campaigning efforts to ensure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the help they need. With mental health challenges affecting millions across the UK, fundraising efforts like this skydive play a crucial role in keeping local services running and accessible.
Aalliyah shared that the decision to skydive was inspired by seeing firsthand the impact mental health struggles have on individuals and families: “Working in residential support, I see every day how important it is for people to have access to mental health resources. Mind does incredible work, and I wanted to do something bold to help make sure those services are there for anyone who needs them.”
Restorative Social Care Services has expressed full support for the fundraiser, praising the worker’s bravery and dedication.
