Restorative manager training day with Barnardo’s

At Restorative, we are committed to investing in the ongoing professional development of every member of our team, including our managers. Just as social care is ever-evolving, so are we, ensuring our team is equipped with the most up-to-date knowledge, abilities and confidence to deliver the highest quality care to the children and young people we look after.

Our latest manager training day saw our residential and post-16 service managers undertake the Designated Safeguarding Lead training course with Barnardo’s. We had a great day learning together, and a productive and insightful session.

The charity, founded in 1866 to care for vulnerable children, work directly with 300,000 children, young people, parents and carers every year and run over 1000 vital services, with a focus always on listening to the voices of children and young people.

We are pleased to say, that all Restorative managers who attended are now qualified designated safeguarding leads, confident in the latest practice standards that further ensure the high standards we are so proud of, in our care and safety of young people.

Well done team!
