Restorative’s 9th new Ofsted registered home for children

On 10th October 2022, we opened our newest Ofsted registered children’s residential home, Micklemoss House. This makes a total of nine Restorative Ofsted registered homes for the residential care of children and young people, and the first in Bradford.

The home is led by Joanne O’Donnell, Home’s Manager, supported by Assistant Manager, Paige Gibson. Jo has over 15 years’ experience working in children’s social care, including previously being a dual-registered manager for two other of Restorative’s residential homes.

Micklemoss House is Restorative’s first home outside of Calderdale borough and the team have already welcomed the first young person to live there, soon to be welcoming another.

As with all our other residential homes, Micklemoss House is renovated to a high standard, with the emphasis on comfortable, contemporary, high-quality living spaces that young people can enjoy living in.

It takes a lot of work to renovate homes to the standard Restorative provide for the children and young people we care for and support, with many challenges along the way, but our highly skilled maintenance team pulled out all the stops and we’re proud of the end result.

We’re now looking forward to helping more young people to thrive at our newest house.

If you are looking for an extraordinary career, we’re looking for the right people to join us. You don’t need to have experience. All training and development support is provided. You just need to be the right person.
