At Restorative, our people make the difference – to the young people we care for and support, our quality of service and our team. Unlike other organisations, we don’t insist on minimum qualifications and experience on application.
“You just need to want to make a difference”
“We always say at Restorative, it’s personal qualities that matter. If you want a career with us, we’ll provide the qualifications, experience and opportunities for progression,” says Byron Smith, Director.
All successful applicants receive holistic, personal and financial support to study for and gain industry qualifications, benefitting from personalised training plans and specialist training that aligns with their career goals. Many staff go on to progress within the organisation, gaining experience and qualifications for senior and management roles.
Careers for life
“We’re building teams for the future. So there’s no limit to how far you want to go. If you see yourself as a manager in five years’ time, we’ll help you get there.”
Support and development for employees at Restorative is outstanding. Not only are care team employees supported to gain their NVQ Level 4, which is a requirement within two years of being in a support worker role, all employees, including head office and maintenance teams, receive bespoke, specialist, and mandatory, training courses, following an annual, busy training calendar.
Regular supervision and personalised support
“As a team and organisation, we are inclusive and supportive. We’re committed to helping all staff reach their potential with continuous development, supervision, personal development plans and career roadmap, relevant to their role,” says Sarah Fawcett, Head Office Manager.

Anyone thinking of a career in children’s social care, or who wants to work for a progressive organisation, either in site maintenance or head office administration is encouraged to apply to Restorative.
