We are pleased to announce Restorative Social Care Services has, after assessment by the Living Wage Foundation, been successfully accredited as a Living Wage Employer.

The ‘real’ Living Wage
The Living Wage, sometimes called the ‘real’ Living Wage, is the only hourly rate of pay calculated to cover what people need, based on current costs of living, and assessed annually by the Living Wage Foundation.
The calculation takes into account the cost of living in the UK, and in London, and provides a benchmark for employers who voluntarily choose to enter the scheme, to pay their staff an hourly rate, or higher, that meets everyday costs and needs.
There are two hourly rates: one for those who live in London, and those living outside London.
What it means to be a Living Wage Employer
As a Living Wage Employer, it means we believe people should get a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work. The accreditation reflects our commitment to fair wages and is particularly relevant during a time when the rising cost of living makes finances particularly challenging.
From the 1st of April, all qualified members of staff will receive an increase in their hourly rate that is not only in line with the Living Wage hourly rate, but slightly above it.
Apprentices and trainees will qualify for the increase in hourly rate when they complete their Level 2/3 qualification. And, for those not yet enrolled, we will be looking to enrol them as soon as possible so they can be on track to increased self-development and increased earnings.
Proud to be a Living Wage employer
We are proud to offer our workforce the security of the Living Wage increase. There are currently just over 12,000 employers who are Living Wage accredited and have joined the Living Wage movement, of which we are one.
We value the opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to fair pay and staff development, while being able to deliver this real benefit to staff.
